Science Festival
Science Festival
Our school organizes an annual Science Festival as an extension of the lessons, practices, and experiments conducted throughout the year.
At the beginning of each academic year, subject groups decide on the date of the festival. The festival is held during the second semester, usually in the week of May 19th, Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day.
For the one-day festival, booths are set up in the school’s amphitheater, laboratories, and computer classrooms, where experiments are prepared.
During the festival, students demonstrate the experiments and activities they have conducted throughout the academic year.
Responsible students gather to plan and divide tasks among themselves, while subject teachers act only as guides.
Some experiments are selected as demonstration experiments. All necessary safety measures are carefully taken for potentially hazardous experiments to ensure the safety of both students and spectators.
