Living in a fast-paced era can often prevent individuals from truly hearing their own inner voice. Questioning who we are, what we want, listing our expectations from life, or simply reflecting on these can sometimes feel overwhelming. This is where the School Guidance and Counseling Department steps in.

It must be acknowledged—both today and in the future—that many of the key issues facing schools begin with the simple yet profound idea of “Know Yourself.” Discussing problems and trying to understand them should not only be encouraged but also considered a vital need for both parents and young people who are on their way to adulthood. Providing rational and meaningful content—especially through values education and conflict resolution—is one of the primary responsibilities of our school’s Guidance Department.

In addition, our responsibilities include:

• Conducting one-on-one or group sessions with our students;
  • Addressing students’ problems in depth and offering solutions that help restore their self-confidence;
  • Organizing career-oriented talks and seminars;
  • Introducing universities and planning related activities;
  • Collaborating with field experts and professional institutions;
  • Maintaining active communication and sharing practices with the Guidance and Research Center (RAM) of our district, with the belief that educating ourselves and our environment is essential to becoming global citizens.
