At our school, we have developed a language education program that equips students with a range of language skills essential for their future academic and professional lives.

We offer a meaningful and effective classroom environment that engages students and fosters a love for the language they are learning. This environment is created through the collaboration of both Turkish and native English-speaking teachers, using modern teaching methods and differentiated instructional models that consider individual learning differences.

As the Foreign Languages Department, our aim is to teach English through immersive experiences, primarily using project-based and inquiry-based learning methods. By integrating technology into language learning, and through the use of carefully selected resources, methods, and techniques, we encourage students to explore and question as they learn. This multidimensional approach not only broadens their knowledge but also enriches their general cultural awareness. Content-focused research tasks further spark curiosity, guiding students to become inquisitive and independent learners.

SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE

At our school, German is offered as a second foreign language. Our primary goal is to help students develop listening, reading, comprehension, speaking, and writing skills. Students learn through active participation, experimentation, and hands-on experience. We ensure that students acquire the necessary vocabulary and sentence structures to express themselves simply and effectively in the new language.

Another key objective is to introduce students to a new culture. Learning a new language has become increasingly vital in today’s globalized world, empowering our students to become active and informed global citizens.

Each academic year, our Foreign Languages Department organizes a variety of activities such as MUN (Model United Nations), Quiz Shows, TED Academy, and World Culture Days.
