Together, we sang songs, laughed, and applauded…

A wonderful day where science meets fun!

Our students once again demonstrated how enjoyable learning can be by experimenting, discovering, and being curious at the science festival. There was a different excitement in every corner, and a unique ‘wow!’ moment with every experiment.

Our Model United Nations Conference, successfully guided by our high school students, was an inspiring conference experience where young minds came together, and problem-solving, collaboration, and a global perspective were highlighted.

🌍 World Food Programme (WFP)

Our delegates addressed global hunger, food crises, and sustainable humanitarian aid. Within the framework of cooperation and diplomacy, our students developed innovative solutions to ensure equitable access to food worldwide.

👧 United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)

In the UNICEF committee, topics such as children’s rights, education, health, and child protection were discussed. Under the successful leadership of our high school students, our delegates worked on solution-oriented initiatives for a safer and more hopeful future for children.

🎓 United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

Delegates exchanged ideas on the preservation of cultural heritage, equality of opportunity in education, and the importance of scientific-cultural collaborations. The committee sessions once again demonstrated the unifying power of knowledge and understanding.

🌱 United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)

In discussions on climate change, sustainability, and environmental awareness, our delegates developed solutions for a more livable world. The committee work strengthened our students’ global awareness and leadership skills.

⚖️ United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)

The UNHRC committee addressed important issues such as human rights, equality, justice, and the protection of human dignity. Our delegates worked on peaceful and effective solutions within the framework of empathy and diplomacy.

Working on the Bayeux Tapestry, a masterpiece rich in historical depth and artistic precision, has been one of the most unforgettable journeys at our school.

Two years ago, we set out with a bold vision: to explore and recreate a 70-meter-long narrative from the 11th century. Telling the story of the Battle of Hastings frame by frame—almost like a medieval graphic novel—this iconic work became more than a lesson for us; it became a journey through time.

It wasn’t always easy. We faced significant challenges, especially with time. Every figure required careful historical research, and translating the spirit of the era into art meant racing against the clock. Some scenes took weeks to complete. At times, the scale of the project felt overwhelming.

But through every challenge, we learned how deeply history and art can intertwine. While uncovering the political and social layers behind each event, our Visual Arts students, guided by their teacher, brought these insights to life through color and line.

What emerged in the end is not just a replica—but a testament to patience, research, and the power of collaboration.

Now, as we look at the iconic scenes of the Bayeux Tapestry, we don’t only see the Norman conquest of England—we see our own story reflected within it: a story of determination, unity, and shared success.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us along the way, and invite you to experience this unique fusion of history and art.

Today was filled with inspiring and engaging activities led by our Mathematics Departmentteachers.

We began with the presentation of our TÜBİTAK project, “From Mental Cycles to Nature,” where our students proudly shared their scientific research. This was followed by a delightfultheatre performance with our 4th-grade students, and a beautiful piano recital that highlightedour students’ artistic talents.

One of the most remarkable parts of the day was our Math & Technology Exhibition, wherestudents presented their coding projects and function cities, combining creativity withanalytical thinking.

The program concluded with the exciting MATYONER competition, bringing energy andenthusiasm to the final moments of the day.

Throughout the event, our students had the opportunity to strengthen essential skills such as creativity, collaboration, and self-confidence. It was a truly enriching day—both scientificallyand artistically—and we couldn’t be prouder of our students!
